Raising money for Age Concern Bristol

From Jameses' LEJOG (Land's End - John O'Groats)

I've just sent out my first emails telling friends and family about this little jaunt is all about - raising money for Age Concern Bristol and having fun. I've added a button over on the right hand side for Blog reader to link directly to the Just Giving site. Here's a reminder of why James and I chose Age Concern Bristol.

Nearly one in four pensioners are in poverty. James and I agreed early on in our planning that we wanted to raise money for older people and during our research we came across the excellent work of Age Concern Bristol. The mission of Age Concern Bristol is to improve the quality of life for older people. Their work involves schemes such as providing advice and information, housing support, befriending and community development (www.ageconcernbristol.org.uk). James and I feel happy and privileged to be supporting them. Please dig deep, your contribution could make a real difference. Cheers, James and James
